Shruti Manglik

Shruti Manglik

Founder & CEO

Shruti is a CPA Australia and CA India qualified professional with extensive experience across major government departments, predominantly Transport for NSW, where she led the end-to-end implementation of multiple technology platforms, data governance frameworks, and enterprise risk management solutions. She is a systems thinker, solution architect, and implementation specialist with a consistent track record of leading complex initiatives, strengthening governance, and translating strategy into practical, measurable results.

For over 20 years, she has worked at the intersection of people, data, regulation, and technology, helping organisations chart their course and plan a forward direction. Shruti thrives in complex environments and is passionate about untangling the complexity to make it simple for her customers. As such, she has a strong track record of operationalising complex strategies into sustainable, embedded business processes.

That drive is exactly what led her to found AML SoftServe. When Australia’s Tranche 2 AML/CTF reforms were confirmed, bringing accountants, lawyers, conveyancers, precious metal dealers and real estate agencies under new regulatory obligations from July 2026, she saw something familiar: thousands of hardworking professionals facing a regulatory minefield, without the gear and practical support to help them navigate it. As a CA and CPA who understands both the compliance world and the day-to-day reality of running a professional practice, she knew she was in a unique position to help. So, she built AML SoftServe, a purpose-designed compliance platform that makes AML/CTF obligations simple and manageable for smaller practices.

What she cares about most is that the people using the software feel supported, not overwhelmed. That’s the same philosophy she has carried through every leadership role and used to build AML SoftServe.

On a personal note, Shruti enjoys cooking for family and friends and shares a good, loud laugh over stories from the past. She loves to travel and is known within her community as a trusted confidante and a natural connector. She volunteers as Head of Memberships for the Australian (Sydney) Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, driven by a genuine spirit of community upliftment. She is also a passionate advocate for increasing women’s representation in leadership, a cause that sits close to her heart as a founder, professional, and community leader.

“The people using the software should feel supported, not overwhelmed. It's a service backed by software.”

Ascendra Ventures

Ascendra Ventures

Technology Partner

Ascendra Ventures is an IT services firm built around a single promise: one atomic technology problem, autonomously solved. Rather than selling consulting hours, they isolate the one technical challenge that matters, strip away everything else, build autonomously, and prove it with a working solution. In their own words, "the industry sells time, we sell the answer".

The team works across AI development, DevOps and application development, serving large corporates that need a technology problem isolated from organisational complexity as well as startups that need a viable MVP shipped. Their portfolio spans AI-powered automation, workflow reliability and compliance automation for Australian firms. As a technology partner, Ascendra works with us on the build and delivery of AML SoftServe.
